Puppies Do The Darndest Things

Liddy did enough chewing damage to her bed last week that we had to take it away. Since Friday she's been sleeping on a little fleece blanket and an old towel in her crate. Last night however, she plopped herself down on a pillow Erik set by his bed (he uses it to prop him up while reading and then discards it to the floor). She basically REFUSED to get up! Erik tried the typical nighttime ritual to get her into the crate, she wasn't having it! At one point he said "get in your bed" and she dove under ours! That's a first! Once he got her out she got comfy on the pillow once again. After a brief rest and the lights getting turned off Erik asked her again... she apparently gave him the benefit of the doubt and sauntered over to the crate, placed one foot on the blanket, felt that it wasn't a soft, cushiony bed and ran right back over to the pillow and curled up into a tiny ball! What a spoiled brat!!! :) She got back on the pillow this morning for her after-breakfast-nap:
