Liddy's Hunting Peaches

We took Liddy out to the peach groves at Schnepf Farms (http://www.schnepffarms.com/) in Queen Creek.
She surely loved the peaches--the more dirt on them, the better!

SWIMMING

Took Liddy to the pool this morning to try her hand at swimming! Our trainer instructed us on how to do it properly, but Liddy wouldn't "wade in"even with encouragement. Erik had to pick her up, carry her to the middle of the pool, try to keep her calm and guide her along. Here's a video of the 4th and final swim of the day:

We think she pretty much hated it, but as you can see by the video she did actually have a nice doggie paddle.

New Pics

Was able to spend some time getting photos from the camera and iPhone this morning. Here are some pics of our growing Lidd! She is around 9 months old now.

Basic Graduation

As I mentioned previously, Liddy finished up her Basic course. She learned lots of new commands, which we work on daily. Here's the photo from the class.

Natural Disaster

When we left Liddy un-crated one morning, we came home to this:

All of "her" stuff (toys, bones, old collar, etc.) was in a box on the floor. She had recently figured out she was tall enough to get her head in there and pull out what she might want to play with. So while we were gone, she helped herself to ALL of it!
Our guess is that because the postman came and rang the doorbell when dropping off a package she went bizerk! Tore everything to little shreds! Thankfully, it was all "her" stuff. But clearly she ingested some bits and pieces of things she shouldn't have... more tummy issues.

Bath Time

I saw on the Dog Forums site that people were posting pics of their wet dogs, so I had Erik snap just a few while Liddy was reluctantly participating in her least favorite pastime.

Sick Doggie

So shortly after we visited the vet and got a clean bill of health, Liddy came down with some sort of stomach bug that left her lethargic and sick to her tummy! She got better in a few days (only lethargic for 6 or 7 hours). I snapped some cute photos of her while she was down and out:
